Well, after a six week-ish hiatus, Big Mama and I return to the wonderful world of podcasting by covering a completely random array of topics for your listening pleasure. And we use the word "hiatus," by the way, to make it seem like our podcasting break was TOTALLY PLANNED, but the fact of the matter is that we just never got around to recording anything because we were too busy eating cakes and watching TV. We also did a good bit of sleeping. This week we talk about Big Mama's hair woes, our teenage fondness for writing notes in church, how chocolate chip cookie dough and Cheetos can completely derail parenthood, blog-related Google searches that crack us up, our deeply academic appreciation for the Old Testament, and why you wouldn't want either one of us to ever be in charge of starting some sort of fire. In short, it's the least entertaining entertainment that the interweb has to offer. Which makes us understandably proud. And I'll go ahead and warn you that I had some microphone ish-ahs on this podcast, so I apologize in advance for the technical difficulties. You can rest assured that I will work tirelessly to fix those ish-ahs just as soon as I can tear myself away from my Dairy Queen chicken tenders. My, they are tasty. And as always, we thank you for your patronage.

    Hi Ladies,
I had to comment on this podcast. I have put working out and laundry on hold during "quiet time" at my house because I must tell you how your conversations just make my day. You guys crack me up and put a smile on my face that lasts the whole day. I downloaded this podcast on my ipod since I never seem to have time to listen to a full episode. Turns out this ipod has been the best Christmas present my husband ever bought! I listened to Episode 9 on the way into the city enroute to my Mom's group and on the way home from the city, my son asked a few times why I was laughing so hard....remember ipod means earplugs so as he is listening to "Old McDonald" I am listening to you two.

I loved your Google, freelance writer comments. I also loved when you spoke about your Bible studies and reading the bible through in a year. It was nice to see the more serious side of you guys. I too committed to reading the Bible in a year and have started with the light reading of Galatians and Ephesians as well as the Gospels.

Anyway, just wanted to let you both know how your laughter can set my day straight by making me laugh!

laying here with a sinus infection, and I am not feeling lonely anymore, and feeling lots better from all the laughter. Love me some Boo/Bigmama podcasts! (btw-the veggies tales do bounce too much and have no hands- LOL-and sometimes it will get on my last nerve!)
